Jon Gosselin did an interview with Good Morning America. During this interview, he discussed the abuse that he endured from his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin. He said that Kate would not allowed him to spend time with his mother because she wanted him to only spend time with the children. Jon Gosselin also said that Kate Gosselin stole his wedding ring. The reality tv show dad of Jon and Kate Plus Eight is getting a lot of criticism, however, for bashing his ex-wife. Is Jon Gosselin really all that wrong?

Kate Gosselin has made her way into the media to talk about the couple’s divorce a few times. While Kate didn’t necessarily say anything terrible about Jon Gosselin, she has presented the couple’s divorce in a way that makes it seem as though it was entirely his fault. Various sources reported that Kate Gosselin’s brother told Jon that the marriage was over a season prior to when the news about his affairs was made public. This could mean that there is really more to the story than what meets the eye.

It seems only fair for Jon Gosselin to tell his side of the story. After all, Kate Gosselin got to share what she had to say. If she really didn’t want her ex-husband to bash her, maybe she shouldn’t have agreed to doing any interviews and talking about the failed marriage herself. Once she agreed to be seen on tv in front of the whole United States talking about ex-husband, there was an equal opportunity for Jon Gosselin to do so as well. If Kate Gosselin considers her husband to be a lame fish, then maybe she should think again! Jon Gosselin has already endured enough abuse. There is no reason for Kate Gosselin to make it seem as though their marriage was entirely his fault, and not expect him to say something back.

Sometimes, it is much easier for people to remain quiet about their relationship. Once one of them has opened their mouth, it seems fair for the other to do the same. Maybe Jon Gosselin was wrong for going to clubs, as he said in his Good Morning America interview, but other factors need to be taken into consideration. Perhaps Kate Gosselin’s abuse, which can clearly be seen in previous episodes of Jon and Kate Plus Eight, is what really lead to the couple’s divorce. Since everyone is currently hating on Jon Gosselin, why don’t we as the public deserve to see him in a new light?
